Help on connecting BOX with IBM StoredIQ

I'm studying the documentation to allow StoredIQ to connect to BOX and found the link below:

Following the suggested steps, I can't find equivalence on what's recommended into the tutorial and the "Create App" option on BOX menu.

 

Beyond that, there are some instructions that I just can't understand.

 

Has anyone had any practical experience on doing this setup to share objective directions?

It will be very welcome!

 You can create an application by visiting developer.box.com and clicking "console" in the top right hand corner. You will be brought to the Box Developer console, where you can select "create app". Select "custom application" and "oauth2" as the authentication type. Once the app has been created, use the configuration tab to get your client ID, client secret, select your scopes, and fill in your redirect URI.

Thanks for your quick response Kourt. I could create the application according to your instructions but when I try to set the authentication within StoredIQ, I get this error from BOX:

I've seen this error mean a couple different things and would love to get some more details to help further troubleshoot. Could you please open a ticket with our Product Support team at support.box.com? If you provide me with the ticket number I'd be happy take a closer look. Please ensure you provide the following details: 

 

  • Full Error Message
  • Client ID of your application 
  • An example date/time/timezone you received this error 
  • Details about where in the workflow this occurred 
  • Does clicking on "show error details" provide any more info? (provide screenshot if yes)
