cannot access shared folder due to strong password with Google SSO.
tried to setup the password for the Box, but it gives me the error. can you please help on this?

Are you trying to reset the password in your account settings and got an error? If so, it would be best to reset the password here https://account.box.com/login/reset?redirect_url=%2F
