I'm trying to download multiple files on a linux server. The command I was given is

xargs -n 1 /usr/bin/curl -1 -v --disable-epsv --ftp-skip-pasv-ip -u [personal information--redacted]:XX -O --ftp-ssl < FilesURLs.txt

I get an error message that ftp is not enabled for free users. I upgraded to "Personal Pro" but still get the error message. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the Box Community!

FTP is available to business and enterprise accounts — except trial accounts — for bulk migration of data. Unfortunately, it is not available for personal accounts (free or pro).

More details can be found in this article on Using Box with FTP: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697414-Using-Box-with-FTP-or-FTPS

Thanks for your question and let us know how else we can help!

Best,
