Free box account - says I need to purchase

Have a free personal account and when I try to download documents, am told to upgrade yet I’m only using 1.3g of the 10G given.  

Appreciate all assistance.

Welcome to Box Community, and let’s investigate to understand why it’s prompting you to upgrade. 

Upon review, it appears that most folders you have are all collaborated folders. 

 

Let us begin with the following troubleshooting steps, please bear with me: 

  • Are you experiencing the upgrade prompt on each folders you’re downloading? 
  • Could you check with the folder owner, and confirm if he/she has free space? 
  • Kindly attach a screenshot of your upgrade prompt to get a closer look. 
  • In the meantime, try using different browsers, network and/or machine to download the file/folder. 
  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  • Make sure your browser is up to date. 
  • Restart your machine.
