Folder setting so user can view content via search link without having to "Join" the first time?

We have folders in BOX where the content is accessed from our internal web site with a link like this:

https://MyCompany.app.box.com/folder/1234567890/search?metadata=&owners=&query=%2299999999_001%22 OR %2299999999001%22

The issue is in order for the user to access this data, the first time they have to go to the trouble on clicking a link like this:

https://MyCompany.box.com/s/a-bunch-of-letters-and-numbers

This link takes them to a BOX page where they have to click "Join".  After the first time they no longer have to do that step.

I don't want to provide instructions on the page for the user to follow and the user to have to do that extra step.  I have been looking for a setting on the BOX folder to allow anyone to View the content and not have to go through this first time use "JOIN" process.

Is there a setting or a way to set the folder so the user can go directly to the folder with my Search URL without having to do this Join step the first time?
