I received an email that a folder had been deleted from my Box account.
It said to "view trash" for details. I clicked the link and went to the "Trash" folder, which was empty.
So how do I find out WHAT got deleted without prior notice or permission.
If Box does this regularly, I'll be looking elsewhere for storage options.

As per checking, it looks like you have a collaborated folder. If the Trash is empty and you did not perform a deletion, you may go ahead and check with the owner of the file if they have perform a deletion.
