I have been given a link to find and download a file. 


when I hit the link it takes me to a screen that says 'no files to preview' and  'upload your file...'


How can I locate the file location?

I recommend that you reach out to the person who sent you the link and request for a new shared link, make sure the link is set to "people with the link" for you to be able to preview and download files.
