Files from custom app on shared Box

Hi,

We've been added as co-owner on a box "A" shared by a client. We would like to create a custom app to amend the files from the box "A" through an external software. 

When we create a custom app, we can amend files that remain within the application. We do not understand how is it possible to authorize a custom app to write into the box "A". 

Is it possible?

    Hello, 

    This is going to be tricky due to the permissions and authorization of the application in different enterprises. In my testing, I did not get this to work well or regularly. We also don't have any published documentation on this process.
