I'm trying to get a full export of all Folder Names, Paths, IDs, and, most importantly, descriptions. Three out of the four are available through the standard Box reports, but I've talked to support and there doesn't seem to be any way to include descriptions. Support suggested I go down the API route, but I really just need to do this once. Is there an easy way to write a small app that will return this list? Any suggested developers that can help?

Exporting Box Folder Description
I agree, there is the ability to export a "Folders and Files" report from the Admin console, however the report won't include tags or descriptions.
If you want to go the API route, I would first ask your Box CSM if any companies have used API to extract descriptions. Or maybe talk to companies like Robots & Pencils or Cognizant.
