Is there a way to ensure that xls and xlsx files get converted in the page orientation they are saved and not have them be converted in landscape orientation?

Reproducible by uploading a simple xls file in portrait mode. but it will save the pdf in landscape.

The only solution that I can see to ensure a specific file is in portrait mode is to force the dimensions, just want to see if there is an alternative.

Hi ,

That's the only mechanism that I can see to force orientation as well. I'm not aware of another solution.

I would also like to know the answer to this question, as I am mostly sharing spreadsheets in excel.  Also, I do not know how to "force the dimensions"

I would also like to see an answer or fix to this. We share many excel files which are best viewed in portrait. Annoying that there is no way to change this.
