Hi Yusuf,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Have you tried resolve those error notifications in Box Drive yet?
Box Drive provides user notifications if there are any issues saving your changes to Box. The Box Drive application interface lists the file and provides a brief description of the issue.
To find a list of any problem file notifications:
Detailed list for the problem file notification type can be found in this article as well as the recommended solution to resolve the issue: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697614-Miscellaneous-Box-Drive-Error-Notifications
Thank you France; but it didn't help. there are over 150 errors; resolving each of them manually take much time. isn't there any other option? i tried retry all feature but it didn't solve neither.
France's step will help ID'ing the problem. Sometimes it's a size issue, a file name issue, a file type issue. Each file might have a different problem, but taking a look can help you figure out a way to batch fix them so you can sync.
For example, once using France's solution I found folks naming their files with emoji's. I ran a regex to rename any offending files and it fixed like 500+ that were having problems.
First step is diagnosing why Box is having a problem with those files.
Dear France and Lorelei,
Thank you for your replies.
Is there an easy way to reach those files?
It shows only file/folder name; since all my files/folders have similar name. it is impossible for me to find the files/folders.
Kind regards,
Yusuf
Hi France, I did the Retry All and it seems to clear the files and shows 'No Errors', but then the message pops back up and I have cleared it using the Retry All function several times. How can I keep the 'xxx Upload Errors' message from re-appearing?
