Error Storage Quota Reached, it is not!

hi there

I am getting an error message the last few days saying error in upload, storage quota reached. although our storage says 10.7gb used of unlimited (we are on business plus)

When I save something it shows a little red dot over the pdf icon for example? 

I use Box through my desktop...could this be the issue?

Any help is much appreciated

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

Please note that even if you have Unlimited storage, you are still subjected to storage quota error. Due to the folder(s) you're collaborating with. 

And you may check with the owner of your affected folder(s) and make sure she/he has enough storage to house new contents in her/his folder(s). As the folder's ability to host new content is counted against the owner's storage allocation.

Hi There

I'm still unclear of a solution as I am fairly sure I am the creator of this folder, how do I verify this, as the folder was created over a year ago?
