I've now manually rest Box Drive twice, but I keep getting this same error message when I restart Box. I sent my logs, but it says I need to open a support case. When I follow the link, I get only this forum. So, can anyone tell me what I must do next to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Hi Philipp,

Welcome to the Box Community!

Did you manage to reinstall Box Drive? https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697474-Installing-and-Updating-Box-Drive

Best,

I'm trying to find the answer to this same issue. I too have followed all the instructions provided via Box error message to manually reset Box. I have also fully uninstalled and re-installed Box twice. The issue is not resolved and I can't find a solution anywhere in the forums.

I am also facing a similar issue. I am using a Mac Mini.  I followed the instructions provided via the Box error message but both options did not work:

1. I copied and pasted this command into terminal but it asked for a password which I was unable to type in.

sudo mv ~/Library/CloudStorage/Box-Box ~/Box-Box-Backup

2. I went to systems preferences> security and privacy and clicked on 'Full disk acess" but the option "Terminal" was not there in the menu for me to select.

How should I proceed?

I have the same issue. I have followed the instructions multiple times and the error keeps on coming back. I am on a Mac Studio M1 MAX on MacOS Ventura 13.3
