Every single time I try to run and install BOX Drive, I receive a popup error message saying, "An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {22D75DAD-658C-3109-91F7-4CB1A0729109}. HRESULT: 0x80070422.
Hi Gabriella,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Looking into previous cases submitted for this error message, it seems this is related to an outdated .Net Framework.
Can you please make sure your device has met the system requirements to install Box Drive as stated in this article?
Please check if your .NET Framework is updated. It needs to be .NET version 4.5.2 or higher? If you do have this installed on your computer. Can you please cancel the installation then reinstall it again.
Hope that helps!
Best,
I have this problem and already checked that my computer has .NET Framework 4.8.1 and all other BOX's requirements are met. I had already reboot the computer several times and the problem persist. Any idea how to solve this?
Hello,
I have the same issue with BoxDrive product, for the very first time I could do it; however, the installation failed after some recovery process of a previous 'restore point' I needed to do. The message appearing is...
'An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {22D75DAD-658C-3109-91F7-4CB1A0729109} HRESULT: 0x80070091.'

(My computer has already installed the latest .NET Framework 4.8 version)
I appreciate if somebody could guide me with the solution as soon as possible, please.

On the other hand, I discovered that some problem I've been having with the 'Paint' app for a long time is caused by your BoxSync product.
Having installed BoxSync, the Piant app is blocked, and doesn't allow me to save the work. Next, I uninstall the app, and then the Paint app returns to its normal saving.
I appreciate that you could assist me with the newest .exe compilation of it, or any other solution.

Thank you!
