Error in giving access

I have been facing issue of sharing folder with other users multiple times. Somehow in the request it shows pending but they are getting notification email  but when they click it throws error

      Welcome to Box Community and we’d love to help address your collaboration error!  

      Kindly have the affected user to accept the invitation using this method: 

      1. Login to the Box.com and in the left menu of your Box account window, click All Files.
      2. In the pending invitations panel under ACTION REQUIRED, hover on the name of a file or folder.
      3. To see details about the invitation, click the ellipses, "...", and select View Details.
      4. To decline the invitation, click the ellipses, "...", and select Decline All.
      5. To accept the invitation and gain access to the project's content, click Accept.

      User was able to follow the steps and access the folder. However, it was not as straight forward as you wrote.

      Key challenges:

      • For a new user, they have sign-up and default login page takes them to paid membership sign-up and they have to navigate series of tabs to reach to Free individual sign-up. I had to guide this user through series of emails to sign-up.
      • We share some of our data with investors who have little bandwidth and patience to follow the cumbersome steps of sign-up and reduces are chances of success from them paying attention or we have to share data with unsecured channels which defeats the purpose of having a box account.
      • This is happening only for certain users as others are able to access directly through email invite notification. So this could be a bug that should be resolved for a smooth sharing process especially for guest visitors.
