Around last month, I started to get the below error when I try to save a file that is in box and after I did some refresh and try to save it either in a different or same name.
I will need to save it as another different name, after the error pops up only it will be successfully saved.

I had a user with a similar issue today.
Launching box Edit (from Box Web) , the user gets the same message.
They ARE able to use Excel Online to edit. and they are also able to use Box Drive to edit without the same error message.
Please advise. I'll be logging a support ticket as well. (and providing Box edit logs in AppData\Local\Box\Box Edit - thanks,

Regarding the Excel issue you're seeing, after taking a look at a few Microsoft support forum posts like this one (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/sharing-violations/7d320c68-b4c7-48fc-9fbc-e3929e53da15?page=1) , and also discussing this with our engineering team, it appears this is an issue with more recent releases of Microsoft Excel.
Since this issue is something that Microsoft is investigating on their end, and our engineers have verified this isn't something we are able to address since the issue lives in their environment, your best path forward here would be to check this article: Update history for Office for Mac (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac). You can click on Install Package under the section "Release history for Office for Mac" to install a previous version. Specifically, Version 16.29 is stable. You can also raise a case with the Microsoft support team as well.
