Entire content of Box account gone

I have not used my Box account for a while, but recently logged in again. It was empty.

Every file, videos, audio, images, Notes, and more were not there.

I got a page that said “Oops, We can’t seem to find the page you are looking for.”

I was also unable to access Support or any help from that account.

Please could someone tell me what has happened, where my files are  and how to get them back?

Welcome to Box Community, and we will help with your missing files or folders! 

 

It appears that folders and files are currently present in your Box account. Are you able to access those? Also, is there a particular file or folder that’s missing?

 

Meanwhile for the error, “Oops, We can’t seem to find the page you are looking for.” It means you don’t have access to the file or folder.

 

If ever you used to access the file or folder, we have a few reminders: 

  1. Confirm which email the invitation is being sent to.

  2. Check which email address your Box account is associated to. To do so, go to your Box account, click on your name on the top right hand side, then navigate to "Account Settings."

  3. Make sure the email address the invitation was sent to matches the email in your account settings.

  4. If they do not match, have the invitation sent to the email associated with the Box account.
