I emptied the recycle bin permanently, but the storage capacity shows no reduction. Since there were many large files storage capacity should have been freed up significantly. Can you help with this?

Hi @vromr,

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!

I understand that you have issue with data inconsitencies. Upon checking your storage used/total is 21.8 GB of 50.0 GB.

Please note that when you delete folders, the storage space may not immediately update because Box excludes Trash from storage calculations and updates aggregates within an hour or up to 24 hours for complex cases. In rare cases, it might take a few days to a week for the storage usage to reflect correctly. Your files remain safe, and this is a display update issue.  You may check this link for more information: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695334-Storage-Usage-Or-File-Count-In-My-Account-Is-Incorrect
