empty folders showing many files

I see several folders that I am trying to empty but there are no contents when i open them. Can you explain please?

I still see the issue where several folders I have deleted files from show many filess in overview but when I open them they are empty

I am having the same issue. I've deleted the entire folder but it is displaying "1 file." How can I fix this? How can I remove the phantom file?
