I am currently registered with my university email. I will be completing my course soon, losing my university email address. How can I retain access to my BOX folders?

Welcome to the Box Community!
Since you'd be losing your university email. I suggest that you bring this to your Box admin or IT to have your email changed and downgrade to a personal account. Better yet, sign up a separate email and transfer the files to the new account by collaboration or upload.
