Email already in use / disconnect from old address

Hi! I'm trying access some shared files and I'm unable to use Box with my current email address. Apparently it was associated with an old job email that I no longer have access to, so the password reset email is going to never never land. Further, because it's already linked to an account, I can't add it to an account that uses my gmail address for log in. Help?
