Hi,

I have created a sub-folder ( /docs) to whichI need to restrict edit rights.

The sub folder is under a main folder. There are 20+ individuals with edit (editor) permissions, but I would like to restrict edit right to this sub folder (docs) to few individuals only.

How do I do that?

Eg: /box/Projects2021-22 => main folder ( 20+ editors)

/box/Projects2021-22/docs +. sub folder ( need to selectively assign edit rights to a subset of people from the above 20+ editors)

I have the same issue.  I'm trying to change permissions to upload only for certain subfolders but it tells me that will change permissions for the whole header folder, which I don't want to do.

It's absolutely mind-blowing that there isn't yet an ability to manage permissions per subfolder. Deviating from a logical and traditional organization of folders, having to make additional parent folders is insane.
