When I open a file saved in Box on various devices it creates duplicates when saving rather than updating the latest / most recently saved file?

I have 'filename'1,  'filename 2, filename 3 etc

 Can someone advise how to avoid this.

    Can we confirm the method you're using to edit and save the files that's resulting to your duplicate files. And would you mind adding a screenshot of your duplicate files for a closer look?

    I am having the same issue. What is happening and how do we fix this?

    I have this issue too. Box keeps appending my name to the end of a Microsoft word document on some computers where I have Box Drive installed, and not on others. So for a file on the Box web portal listed as “FILE.docx” I end up  with “FILE.docx” on some Box Drive systems and “FILE (my name).docx” on other Box Drive systems. It is a nightmare to figure out what is what and whether or not Drive is properly synced when it does not show “FILE.docx” on a local system. Please advise on how to avoid/stop this.
