downloads failing

I'm running into an issue with larger downloads (80 mb).  When I select the file and click on download, the system hangs with the status 'waiting for 2.realtime.services.box.net'.  If I wait long enough, sometimes the download will start but inevitably fails due to 'network error'.  I've tried updating Chrome and tried using Edge but had the same error both times.  I haven't had this issue before, is there a problem with the app?

I'm having this too, just started today to my knowledge.  extremely good internet speeds on everything else.

to clarify this issue as well, i'm having this issue with both Opera on box.com - it will not allow me to download the file i want, it just spins a unhelpful circle- as well as a message in Finder when trying to click the cloud symbol.  so I literally cannot get my files from either route.  Box, we need help on this.

Not even large files - everything in my organization's drive is either VERY slow to download or failing altogether. Much higher than average reports of outages on Down Detector as well. Box Status, however, reports nothing.

Major problems for us too. I am unable to access PDFs of about 10MB.

Update:  I'm having slightly more luck.  I've been able to download a few larger files but it takes a great deal of patience and time.  Hopefully they'll figure this out soon

It's kind of working, but it's still taking forever to download.There's nothing wrong with my internet speed at the moment.

Same here. Sometimes my recipients can download the files I share, sometimes it just hangs. We tried Chrome and Safari and it's the same issue. Box customer support says they don't see any issues on their end.

We appreciate you bring this matter to our attention, we've reached out to our internal team regarding the reported issue with your downloads and it seems there were high Download latencies on the US-West Clusters.

The good news is this has been mitigated and we are seeing recovery.  Can you please re-attempt your downloads and see if the issue still persist on your end?

The problems are back, but worse this time. I can't even open keynotes in web view now.

Yup, same here. No access to anything in my company's shared folder. Went out and bought a drive to make a NAS backup after yesterday and didn't even have time to get it done!

box is broke but they blame it on everyones firewalls and virus software that they don't even have

Same issue-  screen turns dark blue,  buffering symbol- download links hang indefinitely.  I’m in central UK. 

Can we expect a solution or is this issue going to be ignored ?
