I work in an industry where a number of clients use Box as a file delivery platform - however, as a part of this industry, I also find myself away from my desk and laptop on many occasions. The clients will send me the files to process, I want to do so on my Android tablet on the move... however, if the link is not part of a folder on their account, while the file is showing as previewed in the center of the screen, the Download dialog is absent from the top of the screen, when they would show up on the laptop versions of the browsers. (This happens in both Edge, Chrome and Brave mobile browsers.)

Is there a way of showing these dialog buttons for me to move forward, either as a 'brute force' solution or as a workaround within the Android APK? When I install the Box app on my device, when I click on the link within a sent email, it then opens the app but doesn't show the file for me to work on - all very frustrating. If any of this makes sense, or if anybody has any questions to help me solve the issue, please let me know.

Its December 17, 2024 and there is no response to this. I am having the same problem. It's got to be a chrome anomaly because I've found the download link shows on the PC and other android browsers like DuckDuckGo. Sadly I doubt this will be fixed within the time frame I'm using it on chrome. Imagine telling someone you can download the file is you install a different app on you phone.

Shame on this forum for not answering you and leaving it up to a noob to respond
