Downloading into Excel

I cannot download a file into Excel.  That option to download is grayed out.  I can only download into Excel online or Google Sheets.

    Are you trying to open an excel file that is saved in Box into your Excel desktop application?

    If yes, you would have to install the Box for office plugin in order to open, save files from Box into your desktop MS applications.
