Question

Doesn't Box have any calendar functionality besides the incredibly lame Boxnote template?

Maybe I've missed a new feature, but I can't find any calendar functionality of the type most other collaboration platforms offer.  The Boxnote "calendar" template is just a lame table that requires manual numbering and can't even represent some real months.  And don't tell me about integration with Google Calendar (which Box has touted since 2010) -- (1) I don't think that works with the FedRAMPed version of Box for government, and (2) if we were willing to use Gsuite, we wouldn't need Box at all.  So is there any native shared-calendar tool I've overlooked in Box?  Thanks.

Hi Randy,

Welcome to the Box Community!

The feature you are inquiring is currently not available in Box. I appreciate your feedback and would highly recommend that you send this directly to our Product Team through Box Pulse for possible consideration and implementation in the future.  Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

Thanks for your post and let us know how else we can help you.

Thanks, France.  I've never seen a company pay much attention to feedback forums like Pulse, so instead I'll talk to Box's Federal sales manager about it.

Agreed. It's a great platform but this is a major omission for corporate use and collaboration. Doesn't even have to be complex. A big oversight.
