Deleted Folder shows still being deleted, how do I restore?

Hi! 

I accidentally deleted a whole folder that contains a lot of files. I tried to go to trash to recover, but it shows the folder is still being deleted. When can I expect this to be done and go in to restore the folder? It’s a very important folder that contains a lot of my photos :(

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!

     

    It can take anywhere from minutes up to ~24 hours for a folder’s permanent-deletion processing to finish. If the item still shows “being deleted” after 24 hours please let us know.

     

    You can manually restore or permanently delete any file or folder in your trash.  To delete an item, however, you must have permission to do so.

    To restore or permanently delete specific items in Trash:

    The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.

    1. Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.
    2. Click the ellipsis (...).  Then: 
      • To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore.
      • To delete the item permanently, click Delete.
    1. At the prompt, click Okay.

    When you delete an item, Box removes it from your Trash folder and starts the 14 day grace period.
