How can I delete my account and everything think related to Box

Welcome to Box Community! 

We regret to hear that you’ve decided to delete your Box account and we’ll be sending the complete instructions for your account deletion. 

 

You can only delete an individual account (personal, free). You cannot cancel it.

  1. Click your account avatar in the upper right, and then select Account Settings.

  2. In the Account Details section, click Permanently Delete Account.

  3. Click Okay to confirm and complete the process.

Deletion will not happen immediately, please allow time for the system to process the request.

Note

The email address used for the free account cannot be used in any Box account until 120 days after account deletion.
