Can you tell me how I can default set the list of folders and files to be in name order, rather than in last updated order? My project uses a hierarchical numbered file structure and my files are often given a prefix of date YYYYMMDD so that they are in date order in the Name column.

You can re-sort items by clicking on the column headings in browser. So if you're wanting to sort by name, you'd click the Name heading (once for ascending, twice to switch to descending). It's not a permanent means of sorting, but a one-click solution isn't bad. ;)
Hi JS Gray - I found this answer in another thread which is helpful:
The sort configuration is based on what is set on the All Files page. If you have it sorted by date on the All Files page, then all contents within folders will follow that format. In a single session you can sort by name, but as soon as that folder is closed, it will go back to date.
