Is there a way to place a cover page within a BOX folder so that when my users open the folder, the cover page appears first, prior to the content?  Please advise. Thank you.

Happy Friday!

13850981570195 good question...and I like the idea...lets see if anyone has done this, I will also ask internally...

We use a similar idea here:

We create boxnotes which act as surrogate web pages with links, pictures, tables, and data on them that direct users what to do and where to go for specific projects and topics while also providing up to the minute data.  Then we share the boxnotes on Slack and to specific groups and the boxnotes act as their entry page into a structure(s).  Essentially, they do not access the folder first, they access the boxnote first which, for all intents and purposes, is an opening web page.

Thanks Nate the Great!

Can I do this if I am not an administrator of BOX?

A feature to have a cover document would be an awesome add and a great way to keep users in box.

I use the description field to cover this and link to something meatier when necessary.

On the slack side -- they just rolled out canvases which are effectively a box note you can put in the slack channel, we are shifting to launching stuff that way until box adds the elegant solution (see 1st line).

Don't I need access to Slack?
