Can I let anyone with a specific domain be an external user? For example, anyone can access certain files/folders as long as they have a box account with email *@example.com.

You may invite users with active Box accounts to collaborate in your folders through collaboration invite. Meanwhile, in event that you experience issues inviting external users please check if Restricting External Collaboration is enabled.
