Hello,
Someone said they've looked through the files (there are a lot of them), but I don't think they did. Is there a way to check?

For a while I received an email from "Box updates" that someone has previewed / downloaded a file, but perhaps that was because it was a direct link to the file?

Under "Account Settings" , "Notifications" , I have a check box for all, but never receive an email. I've checked the spam folder.

Would this be available after upgrading and then checking the advanced security report? If so, how far back does it go? I would need either 90 days or perhaps just the last few hundred records, provided that they aren't mine.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Welcome to the Box Community!

If you would like to check activities on a file, you can track these using the file's "Access stats".

Tracking file activity is available only on the files of Starter, Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise accounts, and only are visible if you're an owner, co-owner, or editor of the file. If the "Hide collaborators and their activity from non-owners" setting is turned on for a folder, owners and co-owners still see file activity, but editors do not. For details on tracking access stats, please take a look at this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696594-Tracking-User-Access-Stats-on-Files

Furthermore, users collaborating in a folder can also set their own specific Folder email notifications (if allowed by the folder owner). If you would like to receive email notification for these activities, you want to adjust them properly on the Folder Settings. For details, please see: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196513-Manage-Account-Settings#emailnotifications

Let me know of you have any questions on the above information and I will do my best to help you!

Best Regards,
