I am being replaced in my current position and my replacement needs to become the primary contact and have access to our BOX account and profile. Please advise how this can be done. Thank you.

It seems that you're currently signed up to an individual Box account. At this rate, you can have your colleague to create an account with Box and send him/her an invite to your team's Box folders.
Note that anyone can setup an account for free by using this link.
