Hi I have recently been assigned as editor to a folder. The owner of the folder is no longer in the company. Can I/we somehow change the ownership ? I don't se any options that I can use in regards to change ownership. Is it possible to actually get in touch with a box supporter?

I'm the box folder owner and I follow the guidance to transfer ownership but the option as owner is not available.

To Anders, please be advised that only owners have the capability to change ownership of their folders, if this user is part of a Business or Enterprise account, his Box admin can transfer that folder into someone else's account, otherwise, you would need to contact this user and request that he transfer the ownership of the folder to you following this article.

To Soo, your organization may have put restrictions to prevent managed users from transferring folder ownership, and it also looks like you are part of an organization that requires their managed users to contact your internal helpdesk or IT team for issues related to Box. I recommend reaching out to your internal helpdesk or IT team for further assistance on looking into this.

Hi Box/France - I would stil like to get in touch with you by email. Their must be a way to change ownership. It's not possible for us to contact the old/current owner.
