Hello!


My e-mail service for bredband.net will be deleted in the beginning of November so I need to change my box account. I find the other supporttickets about how to do it but I don't seem to have that level on my account? I hope you can change it for me?


My existing account is [information redacted]


My new account is [information redacted]


I really hope I'm right when I assume that my box-account will remain even though the e-mailaccount is deleted?

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 


You can go ahead and change your primary email address ahead of its deletion, (your email account). Start by adding your new email as your secondary email address. 


To add an email address:


  1. Log in to box.com and navigate to your Account Settings. 

  2. From Account Settings scroll down a bit and in Login and Email Addresses, click Link Personal Emails.

  3. Enter a valid email address.

  4. Click Save.

An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.


To make a secondary email address your primary email address:


  • Click Make Primary next to the email address you want as your primary email address.
