When I was a graduate student, I created a Box account with my university email address.
However, I will be graduating from graduate school in about a month, which means that the email address (email account) provided by the university will expire.
Therefore, I would like to change my Box email address to my personal email address (icloud.com), but I don't know how to do it.


After logging in, when I go to "Account Settings" in the top right, I can add my personal email address to the linked email addresses, but I cannot change the "main" address.
Could you please tell me in more detail how to make the change?
Or is it possible for your company to make the change?

Here's the complete instructions to update your primary email address. 


To change your primary email address: 


  1. Log in to box.com and navigate to Account Settings> Add a Collaborator or Link Personal Email. 

  2. Click Link Personal Email twice

  3. Enter a valid email address.

  4. Click Save.

An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.


To make a secondary email address your primary email address:


  • Click Make Primary next to the email address you want as your primary email address.
