Change Box SSO SAML iDP Provider

Hi guys,

I need to change the existing Box SSO SAML iDP Provider. The instructions mention "Share the metadata file for the new Identity Provider with the Product Support team" but I don't know how to contact Product Support Team as my Box account is developer.

Welcome to the Box Community!

You need to login to your organization's Admin account to be able to update your SSO. Please see for details: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055356533-Using-Self-Service-SSO-Certificate-Management

Hello France,

I don't think this is what Pedro asked.  He's asking how to change an IDP once it's set up.  You gave him an article showing how you would rotate certificates for the same IDP.

I have the same issue as Pedro, I have a 3rd party IDP which needs changing in box to Azure AD.  Once the original metadata file is uploaded there is apparently no way to update the settings manually or to upload a new metadata file for a new IDP. Do we REALLY have to get support involved to change IDP's?

Any updates on this post? I too need to update my 3rd party IDP metadata and it seems there is no way to achieve this with a developer account.
