Hi,

When I try to change the admin on our account (I’m the current admin), I get an error saying when I click the “verify transfer”. Please advise. thanks!

  • You do not have permission to confirm this administrator transfer.

  • You may not confirm the administrator transfer. Please log out and try again after logging in as the administrator.

Here’s what you can do, see if the user taking over your Admin role uses a verified domain. 

To confirm the domain(s) added in your Box Organization. 

  • Log in to box.com> navigate to Admin Console> Enterprise Settings
  • Under the Custom Setup tab, scroll down to Domain Management section
  • See if the user’s email domain is verified. 

If this is the case, you can verify the user’s email domain or make sure that the user’s email domain is aligned with what is in Admin Console. From there, you can proceed with your admin transfer.

Figured it out. Once the user removed the secondary email address from the unverified domain, the admin change went through. Appreciate your help!
