Hello - I'm trying to add our accounting firm to a shared directory for an audit, but Box considers their email addresses (pattern is companyname.cpa) invalid.  I have been unable to add them to a share.  Is it possible to fix this?

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the Box Community!

This might require some account specific information, so I've submitted a case to Box Support on your behalf.

Best,

I have the same issue. I'd like to use Box for enterprise level collaboration for my CPA firm however I'm unable to collaborate since we have the .cpa domain.

Yes.  Please fix this!  You literally just need to update the regular expression used to validate email domains.  This is not specific to me, Dale, or any other customer -- it's your validation library not being up to date.  Thanks!

Anyone find the work around to this? I am having the SAME issue!

I'm having the same issue.  Our auditors just recently changed their addresses.  We have used box seamlessly for our audits for the past 4 years and now we are losing that efficiency.

C'mon Box. This is an easy one to fix. Dropbox doesn't have this issue.

Similar issue. The domain pattern is “@co.countyname.nj.us.” Two emails with this domain were able to make an account (@co.burlington.nj.us and @co.ocean.nj.us) and a third one (@co.middlesex.nj.us) is receiving an error that the email isn’t valid. This was a test run, and we have to share files with many people with various domains. Please advise how this can be fixed.
