Cannot see files uploaded by collaborators

I am the owner of my account. I receive an email every time someone uploads a file to a specific folder. I am getting emails that (person) uploaded (file) to (folder), but when I go to that folder using the desktop version, it is empty. If I use the link directly from the email to take me to that folder on box.com, it is still empty. Why can I not see files uploaded to a folder?

    If you are using Box Drive to access your Box files/ folders on your desktop, and noticed that some updates don't reflect in Box Drive folder,  you can use the Refresh Folders On-demand feature to sync those:

    We released Box Drive (v2.25.306) with the following feature enhancement:

    • Refresh Folders On-demand: User can right-click on a folder in Box Drive and choose "Refresh folder" to get the latest updates made to this folder from Box on demand if they notice that some updates don't already reflect in Finder/Explorer.

    Could you try this and let us know if this help update your folders?
