Cannot login to Box if associated Gmail is locked

To Box Community, it’s been a while since I have used my old Box account. Just one day when I tried to login to that one, all of a sudden, I was required to change my expired password, but when I attempted, my Gmail account was somehow locked and I was unable to receive an email to help me.

 

I was hoping to reach out to a Box employee so you can change this dilemma for me so that I can access Box again. It’s so much to explain. Thank you.

I understand that you are unable to login to your Box account.

 

To reset your Box password:

  1. Navigate to https://app.box.com/reset and enter the email address associated with your Box account.
  2. Click or tap Reset Password.
  3. Box sends you an email that contains a link to reset your password.
    • Password reset links sent via email expire 3 hours after they are sent. If you need a new link after your current one has expired, visit https://app.box.com/reset to have another link emailed to you.
    • If you do not receive an email from Box for this password reset, check to see if your Box account is associated with that specific email address or another email address.
    • Also, check the spam folder in your email client, as it may have been sorted there by mistake.

Thanks for letting me know, Jill, but when I tried to sign into my email account that was associated with Box, it couldn’t log me in, saying “We couldn’t find enough info for your Gmail account”, now I don’t know what to do about neither Gmail or Box.

 

I guess I should just stay locked otu of both of them forever, huh? No help right? I guess it’s cool and okay.
