Cannot create a password

Similar to other posts, I cannot create a password in my new account. I am using a gmail account. I have cleared out my cache and cookies and have tried multiple browsers. I get the same error message as the comment below.  Can you please help.

My issue is the same as the person below: 

I created a new account via google account, and now trying to set my new password but "There was a problem changing your password." error pops up every time.

I tried to change the browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), and OS(Win, iOS) but the same error appeared.

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

If you haven't tried yet, please create a new password using these steps. 

  1. Visit https://app.box.com/reset and enter the email address associated with your Box account.
  2. Check your email, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
    • Password reset links sent via email expire 3 hours after they are sent. If you need a new link after your current one has expired, visit https://app.box.com/reset to have another link emailed to you.
    • If you do not receive an email from Box for this password reset, check to see if your Box account is associated with that specific email address or another email address.
    • Also, check your spam folder in your email client for this email.
