Hi,

We signed up for a Box.com business account with 3 users and then we purchased an additional seat, totaling 4 users.  We were able to invite 2 of the 3 additional users but are stuck on the last one.  The accounts were previously box.com personal accounts and I followed the steps to invite them to the business account.  The final account we are trying to add is a personal pro account.

As I said 2 of them worked fine but we are having trouble on the third.  Initial attempts to invite the last person were telling me, as the Admin, that I did not have permissions to invite anyone.  I had just invited the other two and it worked fine.  I kept attempting to invite the third person but nothing changed.  I have confirmed I am still the primary admin.

Now, it’s telling us we have 22 out of 4 users?  It only shows the 3 users we currently have added.  There are 0 external users as well.  What is going on here?

It's important to note that only personal free users can be added to your Business/Enterprise account, not personal pro users. The latter would have to downgrade his/her Box subscription to join your organization. To do so, please email our Cancellations team via cancel@box.com

 

Meanwhile, to rectify your seat counts, please contact our Billing team through billing@box.com or you can submit a new case by contacting support.
