I have deleted a bunch of files, but the total usage reported by Box is far too high.

Hi, I have the same issue. This repeats now over years again and again.


Why is the usage count not accurate in the first place?


Anyway first a great 2024! Would be kind if somebody could reset my counter too - thank you!

Great news! I went ahead and fixed your storage count. To verify this, log in to box.com> Account Settings> Storage Used.
