Can´t upload files - limit reached, but should have space left?

Hi,

It seems like our BOX account is not calculating space correctly, it says our limit of 50 GB is reached but we should have space left? Could you please look into this?

I also deleted a large file to get some space back (but I should not need to do this, but trying to solve the problem). The space was not allocated back to be used.

    Please note that this activity occurs when the countless activities, combined with the massive scale at which Box supports, makes it incredibly difficult to accurately display aggregated data points throughout our product at all times. If a folder’s storage space calculation is inaccurate due to these issues, the inaccuracies also impact the overall storage calculations for both the user and Enterprise.
     
    If you notice this in your account, most of the time, aggregates will be updated within an hour or less. For larger changes or more complex folder structures, aggregates may take up to 24 hours to be correct.

    Hello again,

    Thank you for your response. I can see that deleting the large file yesterday did free up some space, but there still appears to be a significant discrepancy in the reported usage.

    When I total the sizes of all uploaded files, I get way under 10 GB. However, the account settings show 43.5 GB used. Could this difference be due to historic file versions also being counted?

    I appreciate your help in clarifying this.
