I’ve been trying to install Box Drive on my Mac (running Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6) and have been getting an “Installation Failed” at the end. I just updated my Mac to the latest software and have confirmed that I have enough storage space. 

Please help!

To successfully install Box Drive in your machine, please follow the troubleshooting steps below. 

  • Download the Box Drive installer here. 
  • Double-click to run it without changing the install location.
  • After installation, you must log in to Box Drive.
  • On macOS 10.13 or later, including Monterey, you may need to allow permissions in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab

Also, prior your Box Drive install please make sure that you’ve met the prerequisites: 

Recommended minimum system specifications:

  • 1.6GHz dual core processor
  • 4GB of RAM

Note
If your machine does not meet the recommended system specifications, you may still be able to install and run Box Drive. However, you may encounter a degraded experience.
