Can't create account with university email address

I need to create an account specifically with my university email address however it says that the email domain is reserved and won't let me use it.

    The message you encounter when trying to create an account with your University email is expected if your University Box claims the email domain you are using. There are use cases wherein Universities would like every person that uses their email domain as "Managed User" of their Box account, so they would claim that email domain. This sounds like the case for you; you would have to reach out to your University internal helpdesk about provisioning a Box account for you with your University email.
