Can't collaborate in Keynote desktop (per iCloud issue?)

This is a mystery for me and apparently my company's IT dept. I have access as a collaborator on Keynote presentations stored in Box. I can edit on Box using the "Keynote on the Web" (browser) option. And I can open it in "Keynote for Mac" desktop app option.

However, desktop Keynote does not allow me to collaborate: The collaborate button is grayed out, and I repeatedly get this message about iCloud. My company does not allow us to use iCloud, it's been disabled on all computers, and I've confirmed that I am signed out of iCloud (even on my personal computer).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I need to be able to use the desktop version of Keynote—withe more capabilities than the browser version.

Hi Stacie,

Welcome to the Box Community!

This would be something our Box Support team would like to investigate with you and may require specific account information.

I've gone ahead and created a ticket for you so that an agent can work directly with you on looking into this. Please check your email for details and updates.

Thanks for your patience and please come back and let us know how things go with support!

Best,

Hello,

Was there a resolution to this issue? I am experiencing the same, and it seriously impacts my ability to collaborate in my team.

Hi, Gul,

I ended up calling Apple. They simply had me update my OS (from Catalina to Big Sur). And poof... all is good!

Hope your solution is that easy!!

Stacie
