I was sent an invitation to collaborate but I can't open it on my account. I have already been removed as a collaborator and resent the link but same issues occurs.

Did you received the collaboration invite from your inbox? Can you check if the email address used to send you an invite is the same with your Box login email?
If not, please make sure that you will be invited to folder using your email address on Box.
